Cambridge-based Fitness Rush are first to receive employer grant

Cambridge-based wellness business Fitness Rush is the first employer to have been awarded an employer grant to support them with digital badges.

Founded by Liam Rushmer after an accident led him to fitness as he recovered from his injuries, Fitness Rush provides fitness qualifications to those facing exclusion from physical activity.

Digital badges have helped them to boost employee morale and engagement and support their skill recognition strategy. Fitness Rush Founder, Liam Rushmer, said,

“Fitness Rush Community provides tailored exercise and fitness qualifications to individuals who are typically excluded from physical activity due to physical or mental ill health, homelessness, or economic deprivation.

Digital badges provide us with a visible and shareable form of recognition, boosting our employee's morale and engagement and help validate specific skills or achievements, providing proof of expertise or learning in a transparent way.

Using them is a great way to support our standardised skill recognition strategy across our teams to ensure consistency.”

Employers can receive up to £3,000 to support their business with digital badges. Find out more on our website or contact us for a free consultation. *
